The Incomplete ("I") and Withdrawal ("W") letter grades will be given special consideration
in the sense that those corresponding numerical grades will not be included in the mean and
standard deviation calculations for the overall course grade. The other ranges and letter
grades are arbitrary and can vary between departments and/or universities.
